Welcome Our Newest Village Trustee – Eddie Soto!
At the July 21, 2026, Village Board Meeting, the Village of Winthrop Harbor officially appointed Eddie Soto to serve as Village Trustee for the remainder of the term previously held by former Trustee Dana McCarthy, which expires in May 2027.
Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and community involvement to the Village Board. As the CEO of New Norm Biz, Inc., he has dedicated more than two decades to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed through one-on-one business counseling, mentorship, training, and educational workshops.
A Certified Business Development Advisor (CBDA), Eddie has extensive experience in:
-Small business development and mentorship
-Economic development
-Website design and digital marketing
-Branding and business strategy
-Community networking and organizational leadership
Throughout his career, Eddie has worked closely with local businesses to promote growth, innovation, and long-term success. His experience in business development and community engagement will be a valuable asset as the Village continues to move forward.
