The New Norm Biz INC (NNB) will serve all entrepreneurs who reside in (or own a business in) Waukegan. However, it will focus on providing services to businesses owned by low-income residents, minorities, women, veterans, and persons with disabilities.
Eddie Soto/New Norm Biz will contract with local small business to provide bilingual, one-on-one counseling for local small businesses. Eddie Soto provides counseling to local businesses for several years. He is well-known by local businesses in the community as a resource. Eddie has 19 years of business mentoring experience and is highly trained in business mentorship best practices. He brings Certified Business Development Advisor credentials issued by the Illinois Entrepreneurship and Small Business Growth Association and recognized by the SBA / DCEO / SBDC / ITC / CLC. SBA-approved programs. Over the last 19 years, he has conducted over 4500 counseling sessions through SBA-approved programs and assisted with over 650 business launches in Lake County.
